Life is busy. Work, law school, performances, papers and lessons seem to be taking up so much of our time. And it seems to be going by very quickly. Tonight it could have stopped for all I care...
Jack and I were sitting in his room having a cuddle before bedtime. He was irritable tonight and I was ready for a break. But dutifully -- and unsure of the response I would get -- I sat with him and sang a few simple songs. Make no mistake...I was awful. But as I finished each one he smiled, set his turtle aside and clapped for his Papa. Papers can wait...I have better things to do...
